An inspiring movie about collaborative consumption: sharing your stuff.
Although the consumer culture still permeates the conformation of our most ordinary activities and decisions, as a logic apparently natural and self-evident, it's within our reach to build a sustainable way of living. A good first step is realizing how we are somehow trapped into a paradigm, and what are the creative means to overcome it!
What does "good life" really mean to you, and what do you need to get there? Sharing (time, goods, knowledge, fun, ...) is certainly an indispensable tool!
i will embed the video here because i like it when you can see the video straight away :)
Thank you Rosanne, very great video!
Collaborative consumption is today on everybody's lips and I can't wait to see every body USING these models, as a real part of their consumption.
It is also very exciting to know that collaborative thinking can be applied to all sectors of the economy.
So, we still have some work to do to make sharing as easy as buying for all!
here another very inspiring video on the broader topic: http://sacred-economics.com/film/
Thanks Nathalie, I didn't think of that option. And Cécile, thank you for sharing that movie, it's inspiring as well. I really like the idea of collaborative consumption and it's indeed becoming more popular.
