Integrated Program on Sustainable cities

Big news from the Global Environment Facility (GEF)!

In the context of the UN Climate Summit on the 23th of September, the organization just launched an Integrated Program on Sustainable Cities.

The aim of the  Program on Sustainable Cities is to establish a common platform for cities to access and share solutions on climate change adaptation and mitigation, energy, transport and water. To enable this, the platform includes a sustainability plan and urban management tools.

The plan will allow GEF to support cities and urban areas to develop a plan for their challenges and opportunities. Urban management tools then serve to implement these sustainability plans into concrete reality.
