Even the most convinced in our middle are no saints when it comes to traveling. We sort out our plastic, take care that our celery is from local and biological origin and we take the bike or train to work. Nevertheless, we can't say no to take the plane to sunny destinations. Not surprisingly, our SPREAD-report revealed that indeed mobility takes up the biggest part of our footprint.
So, what can we do to make our holiday experience more sustainable? Is there such a thing as sustainable tourism? What can the tourism industry do about it?
